Random Thoughts....

These are surprisingly very comfortable shoes!  I couldn’t believe the reviews because every heel I own seems to hurt me somehow, but the three times I’ve worn these, they have been pain free.  The wedge definitely helps, and although it is 4 1/2 inches, the 1 1/4 front platform makes it very easy to walk in.  This bootie comes in two colors — black and taupe.  I bought the black one just because I can match it with everything, but the taupe color is still very cute.  I kind of wish it came in leather, the suede scuffs easily, I already have a mark on the toe part.

Fall has arrived and it is the perfect season for blazers!  Many retailers have modernized the classic black blazer, and here are my top four Fall must haves, all under $40

1. This Classic Knit Blazer from Forever 21 ($27.80) is perfect for dressing up a daytime outfit.  Wear with a bright dress and sandals, jeans and ballet flats, or leggings with tall boots for that equestrian look.

2. I’m LOVE the color mauve for fall.  This three quarter sleeve, ruched cuff blazer is to die for and definitely on the top of my list.  A little oversized, but the color adds such a girly touch and will brighten up any outfit instantly. Forever 21 ($32.80)

3. Turquoise, another fall color I LOVE!  The fabric on this blazer is amazing, lots of room to move and it warm for those fall nights.  H&M ($34.95)

4. My last must have Fall blazer is this Ponte/Knit Striped three quarter sleeve blazer from Charlotte Russe ($36.99).  It’s nautical feel and thick black pipe trim make for a perfect out-in-the city jacket.

October wish list I guess you can say :)

(From top left) Wild Pair’s “Walker 2”, reminds me so much of Jeffrey Campbell’s “Lita” but more friendly on the wallet.  Following “Walker 2” is Wild Pair’s “Wylie 2”, I know both booties look the same, but being a shoe lover,  it’s okay they look similar, it’s always good to have extra choices; wedges or chunky heel :) Now, bringing it down to a more classic look, I wish for a cape!  This one is from H&M and has a modern twist to it.  I love the look of this cape, it’s long, has a scarf like neck, and the color is great.  Finishing up the top row comes this cropped “Minus-the-leather” jacket from Express.  This faux leather jacket comes in various colors, but I choose Espresso.  I also like this jacket in Cognac.

(From bottom left) This starts my Rachel Zoe obsession, from her debut collection for Neiman Marcus I chose — her black plunging tie neck blouse.  Great under a blazer, and I’m loving the tie neck accent, especially when it comes to adding pop to something black.  Next I picked her Double Platform Pump in Black, I LOVE the texture color blocking and the 5” wedge is an added plus.  To add an accessory to my October Wish List, I went for the “Zoe Leather Tote”, such a classic style to match with anything and everything.  It’s also nice to have a choice between a top handle or shoulder strap.  Last but not least, my FAVORITE pieces from her collection… the Tailored Tuxedo Jacket and Boot Cut Tuxedo Pants.  I know white is really hard to wear, but the cut on these pieces are so sleek that I’d be extra careful.
